Hello everyone,
A week ago, we encountered an issue related to the new USDT Bond that is being tested. The problem is already over and it does not pose any kind of further threat to the platform at this moment. As a result of the attack, total of 4000 NMS was minted and dumped into the LP. We estimate that the total damage is around 550–700k USD in cash and this attack was the main reason for the price drop during last week but it’s all safe and secure now.
During the attack, I took initiative and decided that the best action was to remain silent about the issue until the minted funds are totally dumped because massive development announcements and also overwhelmingly condensed 2022 Roadmap were planned to be released very soon. I couldn’t risk attacker(s) holding such an amount of NMS after huge development updates.
Anyways, yesterday the dump is finally ended and all of the wallets involved in this attack were tracked with the purpose of reaching their real ID (thanks for filling out Airdrop Forms and using Binance Hot Wallets). We will not stop chasing this matter and yet we already employed one of the best law firms specialized in crypto-related thefts. After the incident, we as the Nemesis Team promised to build one of the best ecosystems ever created on the Binance Smart Chain: The Nemesis Sanctuary. 💥 1.000.000 USD Buyback and Burn Event
During the upcoming 30 days, a total of 1.000.000 USD worth of NMS will be bought from the LP and will be burned for good. This event alone will increase the current value of NMS by around 25%, decrease the total supply by around 10% (together with 1000 NMS Team Burn), and of course boost the treasury-backed value of NMS massively. Buyback times will be random and if the price was on an uptrend on a specific day, the daily buyback amount will be compounded in Buyback&Burn Reserve to make the next Buyback more effective and timely.
